Puiggròs

It is inhabited by 287 people who live on the hill which gives its name to the village.

The village is 334 m above sea level, and its land area is 9.86 sq km.

In the centre of the village there used to be Castell-Palau de Puiggròs (castle-palace), of which you can see some walls with Gothic windows and gates whose keystones are decorated with the manor lords' coats of arms.

Església Parroquial de Santa Maria (parish church), rebuilt in the 17th century, has a square belfry.

The alleys bunch together round the castle, where we can find the gate that used to close the walled village.
