almond trees as a main product of their business.<\/p><p>The village preserves many medieval features, like narrow streets and stone houses.<\/p><p>Both the old and the new churches were built during the two periods of prosperity, the repopulation period and the time when olive cultivation was spreading. The 18th-century Sant Miquel church boasts a beautiful Baroque fa\u00e7ade and a Neoclassical inner nave.
