Ancient town and the Albi castle

The square, Carrer Major and Carrer del Call are the preserved reminders of the local history. The Town Hall building and the Cooperative (work by Cèsar Martinell) also stand out.
The "ancient village" is located at the foot of a hill with the remains of the medieval castle on it. Built in the 12th century, the castle was enlarged and renovated three centuries later. Converted into a Renaissance palace, it occupies a hill on the outskirts of the village.
