The square, Carrer Major and Carrer del Call are preserved reminders of history. The Town Hall building and the countryside cooperative (work by Cèsar Martinell) are also noteworthy.
The town is located at the foot of the remains of the medieval castle. Built in the 12th century, it was enlarged and renovated three centuries later. Converted into a Renaissance palace, it occupies a hill on the outskirts of the town.
