The Castle Ruins

The village is located at the foot of a hill with the ruins of the medieval 12th-century castle on it. The castle was enlarged and renovated at the end of the 15th century. Turned into a Renaissance palace, you can see it on the hill on the outskirts of the village. In the residential area, there is a pointed gate with a lowered vaulted arch with simple cross mouldings. The keystone in the middle boasts several shields, one of them has a rampant lion on, and another one is in a  rhombus form.

Guided visit to the Castle and village must be booked at the Town Hall (973 175 004)
